The closing of a Chapter and the Opening of a new one
Published in AFO News by Riddick | Comment (1)
The time has come, and in some ways sooner than better. The AFO chapter today closes for good, however it will never leave the memory for so many.
For those who have stood by us whether from the start or not, I thank you for your contribution regardless of its size, and I do wish those times can be replicated under our new site and banner.
Our vets certainly thought long and hard about the move, but in the end knew it was the best thing for not only our members but our sponsors and supporters.
A big thanks goes out to the AFO management for sticking by through some really tough times over the nearly 5 years under the banner of AFO.
This site will remain to be seen for historical purposes but will no longer be active nor interactive.
We are now called Frenetic Array and you can find us at www.frenetic-array.com.
AFO fuck yeah!!!!
Clan Meeting - at 9:30pm EDST on the 4th of Jan 2010
Published in AFO News by Riddick | Comment (3)The day has finally arrived folks!!!
Tonight we will be having a Clan Meeting and I expect YOU ALL to be there, I don't care if you are a social fan boy I still expect you to be there.
Tonight is about briefing you all on our year ahead and also to talk about our new site RELEASE TONIGHT!!!
Hell yeah, I am talking tonight.
I gathered the web team last week to discuss the sites poor progress and we decided we'd see what we could do ourselves to finish it. To my amazement we knocked over 80% of the bugs and the 20% remaining is more or less minor or simply aesthetics.
I would really like you all when you get the chance to thank the following people that helped us get this damn site out tonight.
fray`Cretin - Instrumental in finishing off some of the major bugs.

Instinct - A BF2 Fray Frag Movie
Published in Battlefield 2 News by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (2)Our long-time BF2 member Akme has created a fairly fragtastic frag movie. For those of you who like watching sniper carnage then this video should please you greatly. Great work Akme! (Personally, I liked the one where you blasted the chopper pilot)
Oh_Man's Wild Wild News Roundup
Published in AFO News by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (0)
It is I, the mighty OhManeus, back to serve you all as the most magnificent Public Relations manager the world has ever had the pleasure to bear witness. In my absence there was no one as magnificent as myself capable of keeping up with the news. So I have decided to bless you all with Frenetic Array's first ever spur-kicking, sheriff-badge-gleaming, cow-tipping, cattle-driving news roundup!
First off we have the Xbox Halo boys who headed off to fight for Fray honour in the Australian Halo Professional tournament last month. After fighting throughout the day the team made it to the Grand Final, staring down Team Evolution. In a thrilling, pants-wetting match the Fray boys came out on top with a 6-5 win, making them the official #1 team in Australia and earning them a comfortable $2500 cold hard cash! For those of you wishing to check out the game yourselves, download and enjoy here. The team has now gone above and beyond everyone's expectations, and are due to head off to the next Major League Gamers contest overseas! Outstanding results guys!
Our Xbox Call of Duty 4 team, captained by Iceman has come away with a great win against Uprising in the Cybergamer Open S&D Grand Final. The match was played out over a best of three maps, and the team smashed Crossfire with a 13-7 win, and then sealed the deal with a 13-8 smash on Crash, ending the Grand Final 2-0, and securing their place as number #1 in the CoD4 Cybergamer Open! The team will now move on to the new Modern Warfare 2 ladders, and begin fragging all over the place as usual. If you would like to listen to the shoutcast by gameStah, you can download it here.
The Forum Signature Contest has come to an end, with the winner being Llama Ops. Llama gets $100 prize money, graciously donated by Tdriver. Llama is already hard at work pumping out these brand spanking new signatures so head on over to the General Private Arena signature thread in the forums to get your own signature! Then upload this signature to every gaming-related forum you currently frequent! Then print them out and plaster them all over your bedroom! Then make them into stickers and put them on the bumper of your car! Then have them screen-printed onto every shirt you currently own! Then tattoo them onto various parts of your body! Aah! The possibilities are endless!
Lastly, I would like to welcome two new teams to the fold. The Xbox Modern Warfare 2 team, consisting of three four man teams from CoD4 and CoD5 (who retired from their CoD5 Cybergamer Open undefeated); and the Left 4 Dead 2 team, consisting of the previous Left 4 Dead team. These two games are hot off the shelves and have already received worldwide critical acclaim, so naturally it is in our best interest to have the Fray boys kicking ass and taking names in the new ladders! Our MW2 teams have already been climbing the ladder with only one loss between the three of them! Good luck for the new season guys!
Sadly, that's it for today's news roundup. I've got more cattle out there who aren't going to just rustle up themselves!
Oh Man Out.
Xbox Cod 4 Cybergamer Grandfinal
Published in Call of Duty News by Fray Woodzy | Comment (0)For the third consecutive CyberGamer season Frenetic Array will be competing in the CoD4 Grand-Final. This season will see the boys square off against Uprising who is the biggest rival of the Fray Xbox boys. Having defeated my CoD4 team in the Got Games Grand-Final and then in the CyberGamer qualifying final uprising would be feeling pretty confident in this one. But the other CoD4 captain iceman knows how to beat this team and is feeling confident that they will bring home the title for the third consecutive season.
The match will be taking place on Monday the 3nd of November at 7pm AEST and the three maps to be played are Crossfire, Crash and Strike. As always the match will be shoutcasted by the crew over at Gamestah, so head over to http://www.gamestah.com at 7pm AEST to cheer the boys onto victory.
Xbox CoD4 Frag Vid
Published in Call of Duty News by Oh_Man[TFE] | Comment (0)Below is an Xbox Cod 4 frag video that was made from GotGames and CyberGamer matches by our Xbox team. The highlights all came from Woodzy's point of view as he is the only player in the team with a High Definition cap card. All footage is from the best teams in the ladders and no footage was taken of the matches played against lower ranked teams. Hope you guys enjoy as this was Woodzy's first time using Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas.
